Why "Joie de Vivre"?

Every day is all we have. That is the idea here.

Finding joy in everyday life is the heart of this blog. I've become acutely aware that life is short and I want to enjoy the simple pleasures of it before my time is up. "Joie de Vivre" is a way for me to appreciate every day.

I found out that this idea of enjoying the simple pleasures of life is not unique to me but rather is something that's resonating with people all over the country (and maybe even the world!)

I found a wonderful post about a new magazine that focuses on this subject while reading "Design Mom."

Check it out and do enjoy!
